Bruno REBSTOCK

Biography


Bruno REBSTOCK is a graduate of the School of Law of Aix-en-Provence and a graduate of the Institute of Criminal Sciences and Criminology.

Head of his class at the 1990 Bar Exam (CAPA) Bruno was formally admitted to practice at the bar of Aix-en-Provence, on 14 January 1991. He accepted employment as a lawyer for the law firm of Alain MOLLA.

In 1992, he received the Benjamin ABRAM prize.

In 1994, he founded his firm.

He has been an instructor in criminal procedure at the South-East School of Lawyers (EDA SUD EST, Marseille) since 1994.

Mr REBSTOCK also teaches plea techniques for oral arguments at the Grand Est School  of Lawyers (EDAGO in Brittany) and at the EDA Sud Est.

He is the author of training modules on “The Practice of Preliminary Investigation” (2016) and on “The Practice of Immediate Arraignment” (2018) recorded for NetForLex.

Member of the Conseil de l’Ordre (Bar Association Board) from 2006 to 2012, he chaired its Criminal Commission. In this capacity, he was the first lawyer to be a member of the Multidisciplinary Commission for Security Measures.

Militant and committed, Bruno REBSTOCK has been a member of the Syndicat des Avocats de France (French Lawyers Union) since 1991. He chaired the Aix-en-Provence section before becoming a member of the Union’s Council, the chairman of the Criminal Law Committee for many years and a member of the National Bureau.

Regularly invited to participate in colloquia or training seminars on criminal matters, Bruno REBSTOCK had the honour of speaking at the Institute for Criminal Defence.
